Examining factors influencing human resource process efficiency and the role of operational digitalization in the digital era
The operational dynamics of contemporary companies have been drastically changed by the quick development of digital technologies. Among other departments, the human resources (HR) department has undergone a major shift, making it the focal point of the change. This study aims to analyze the main factors influencing the efficiency of HR processes and the role of operational digitalization in organizations. A quantitative research strategy was adopted, and data were collected from 220 professionals across management information systems and data science domains relevant to the HR context. To confirm the hypotheses put forward, multiple regression was used. The results demonstrated that the readiness of the organization, the support of the management, and the integration of the management information system (MIS) and automation significantly increased the efficiency of the HR processes and highlighted the necessity of having a structured organization, a committed leader, and technological systems in place for the performance of HR operations. Employee digital literacy was viewed positively but was not statistically significant, indicating that individual digital skills alone require organizational and technological support. This study provides HR managers, MIS teams, and organizational leaders in the United Arab Emirates with a range of useful recommendations on digital HR solutions to enhance operational performance and strategic alignment.
