General Guidelines
  • The IJoSI welcomes original papers from the dissertation, thesis work, or any source. However, journal papers are usually more concise and to the point than a dissertation or thesis. A Journal paper is more focused on new ideas and novel points and is normally less than 40 pages. Note that each paper is allowed to be sent to ONE journal for review and publication unless it is rejected by a journal, then it can be resent to another journal. There is no qualification on the author’s status. The Journal reviews only the scope and quality of the paper.
  • The IJoSI is SCOPUS, DOI, and Google Scholar indexed and is planning to obtain SCI and EI indices in the next few years. The Journal is dedicated to the areas related to Intelligent Innovation Methods.
  • To submit a paper to IJoSI, please follow the below guidelines:
    1. Before submitting any manuscript, please check if your paper falls into the scope of IJoSI. Out-of-scope papers will not be reviewed for publication. The scope of the IJoSI and other submission-related information can be downloaded from Download Doc.
    2. If you have not registered with the IJoSI, you need first to register yourself at https://www.ijosi.org. Please remember to fill in your affiliation, contact data, and expertise areas in the system. Then, you can use your account and password to interact with ALL journal activities including submitting a paper.  Please follow the instructions on the website.
    3. Authors are asked to submit TWOversions of MS-word-editable file of each paper to the IJoSI website: one with author affiliation for system records and the other one without any author information and acknowledgment for double-blind reviews.
    4. If accepted, the corresponding author will need to submit Publishing agreement and copyedited paper in which the Journal format is observed to be ready for journal staff to further editing the paper into publishable format.
    5. To keep track of all review processes, authors are requested to submit ALL documents, including and not limited to manuscripts and publishing agreements, in each review stage to the IJoSI website instead of sending to editor’s e-mail address at ijosi@i-sim.org. The editor’s e-mail address is intended to handle abnormal or none-routine situations when there is any problem with document submission or special inquiries.
    6. Please remember to include your manuscript identification (paper ID) and title in ALL correspondence. The Journal typically has many papers in the review process. Without manuscript ID it is very difficult for Journal staff to locate a paper in the process.
