Can I propose a special issue?

Updated By IJoSI Editorial Office 10 days ago

A special issue request by a qualified scholar is, in general, welcome with the following conditions:

  • Any paper to be in the special issue should be original, has never been published in any other journal, and does not offend normal journal ethical requirements. A  conference paper is OK. Yet, it is encouraged to further polishing it for better quality for Journal review and possible publication.
  • 2) The paper is in the scope of IJoSI. For the Journal scope, please refer to the IJOSI Journal Statement + Scope under "Download Doc." menu item at https://www.ijosi.org

To iniate a special issue request, the proposing scholar needs to send a proposal to the editor-in-chief of the Journal following the guidelines indicated in the ensuing question.
